Landsdale Gardens Adventist School

High School Extension . . .

In response to the needs of our school community and the rapid population growth in the northern suburbs of Perth, the School Council of Landsdale Gardens Adventist School is planning to offer secondary education at the current site, 77 Queensway Road, Landsdale.

Enrolments are now being accepted from families that are interested in this as an option for their children.

The Master Planning process is well underway to establish the school as a Kindergarten to Year 12 campus.  An application to the Department of Education Services was lodged in August and approval for the extension is expected before the end of 2011.  In the meantime plans are underway to make the extension a reality with:

• Year 8 in 2013
• Year 9 in 2014
• Year 10 in 2015
• Year 11 in 2016
• Year 12 in 2017

In keeping with the current international trends in 21st Century schooling, the high school curriculum will be modeled on transition schooling.  Students will utilise technology to engage in an intergrated and innovative learning program delivered by multi-skilled specialist teachers in a nurturing homeroom environment.
